Remarks: The 474th FBG was already attached when the wing converted to the F-100. However, in 1957 it was elevated to wing status as well, and those units are covered in the 474th FBW/TFW area. Both the 312th and 474th FBWs then fell under operational control of the 832d Air Division. The 312th TFW was renumbered as the 27th TFW in early 1959. Its squadrons became the 522d, 523d, 524th, and 481st TFS.
