Remarks: These units were used to transport aircraft from factories and depots, deliveries to allied air forces, and between units. The 1708th FG/FW belonged to Military Air Transport Service. In 1958, the 1708th deactivated and fighters were transported by Tactical Air Command’s 4440th ADG. The 4440th was deactivated in 1969.
